Feeling not ‘on the ball’ lately while working or studying from home? Come make some energy balls with our simple recipes!

Amazing & Simple Home Recipe

To make these fun bites of energy at home, all you need are there common ingredients that you can find in your kitchen:



You can use the common bread spreads that you have at home such as peanut butter and/or Nutella. If you have a nut allergy, you can always substitute this with half mashed banana.


Feel free to be creative using whatever yummy bites you can find in the kitchen – chocolate chips, M&Ms, chopped nuts, raisins, or even all of them!


Step 1: In a medium bowl, add the honey and the base and stir to combine the ingredients.

Step 2: Add the dry oats and toppings to the mixture and fold it in until all the ingredients are mixed in well.

Step 3: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes.

Step 4: Use an ice cream scoop or a spoon to scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture into your hand (make sure you have thoroughly washed them first!). 

Step 5: Roll it into a ball (or be creative and make any other shapes if you wish to).

Step 6: Repeat with the rest of the mixture. You should be able to make about 6 of these energy balls.  (Watch our tutorial video for step-by-step instructions!)

If you want to make more to get you through the whole week of HBL or WFH, you can always double the recipe! Just make sure to store the energy balls in a sealed container in the fridge.
